SEKISUI HOUSE
Welcome Home
(2025)
Sekisui House, Japan’s leading homebuilder, builds homes grounded in harmony with nature. As they established in the U.S. market, I art directed a brand experience designed to deepen engagement with prospective buyers by speaking to the heart, delighting the soul, and informing the mind.

What is essential,
is invisible to the eye.
Inspired by The Little Prince and Japanese philosophy, I crafted a symbolic language that tells the story of the unseen, yet fully felt, emotional and environmental values embedded within each home.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS
I led the art direction and spatial design of the Experience Center, creating a journey into the brand. Guests move through a Japanese-inspired welcome, brand timeline, hands-on pottery experience, and zero-energy home demonstration. These are my early sketches, the build is underway nationwide.

INTERACTIVE HOME TOUR

To guide guests from the EC into the Home Tour, I designed a playful, scavenger hunt-inspired journey. Their iPad app integrates with museum-inspired wall signage to reveal how each home supports their holistic well-being.
To introduce a hand-crafted layer, I painted each plan in watercolor. Personalized key cards and floorplan cards complete the guest take-home package.

AN EXPERIENCE FOR ALL AGES

Nestled within the home tour, Kid's Corner is a playful, hands-on experience designed to spark curiosity and imagination across generations.

WELCOME HOME

As a move-in gift, I created custom paintings of each homeowner’s residence. Framed by a local artisan, the artwork reinforced the brand’s emphasis on care, craftsmanship, and personal connection.
